AI assistant

Just tell your AI. It handles the rest.

Bonjour Finance connects to Claude, Anthropic's assistant. Talk to it like you would to a person, on your phone or your computer, and the expense lands in the right group, split the usual way.

  • Add an expense out loud

“I paid for groceries, $84.50, in Family.” Done.

  • Ask your questions

Who owes how much? How much on restaurants this month? Claude answers with your real numbers.

  • Attach the receipt

Send a photo of the receipt and Claude attaches it to the expense.

How does it work?

The connection is called MCP (Model Context Protocol): a secure link between your account and your assistant. Turn it on in two minutes from your profile, and turn it off whenever you like.

To turn it on: open your account menu, then Account settings, section “Connect to Claude AI”. Generate your key, then add the address it gives you in Claude, under Settings › Connectors.

Why Bonjour Finance

I built Bonjour Finance to solve a very real need. At home, we had to keep track of family expenses. On trips or at restaurants with friends, we had to figure out who paid for what. I wanted a simple, free tool that does the math for us, so we can talk about something other than money.
